HFVII 1007              Human Factor VII (Proconvertin)

Prepared from fresh frozen human plasma. Human Factor VII is a single-chain vitamin K dependent glycoprotein found in trace quantities in plasma (0.5 mg/Liter). In the Tissue Factor Pathway of coagulation, Human Factor Vlla, in the presence of calcium ions and tissue factor, activates Factors IX and X to their enzymatically active forms, Factor IXa and Xa.
