HFXI 1111 Human
Factor XI
(Plasma Thromboplastin Antecedent)
Prepared from
fresh frozen human plasma. Human Factor XI is a two-chain glycoprotein
with molecular weight of 160,000 daltons. The two chains are
identical disulfide bonded polypeptides with molecular weights of
80,000 daltons. Factor XI is activated to Factor XIa by
Factor Xlla. Purity of Factor XI is assessed by SDS-PAGE. Activity is determined by clotting assay.
